Escrick, south of York

18k return trip.
It begins south west of the village of Escrick, and heads north into York City Centre by following a disused railway path and then the banks of the River Ouse.
The vast majority is off road on a well-surfaced tarmac path, with the occasional downhill section.
Caution will need to be exercised on the approach to York as there may be a large numbers of pedestrians.
Refreshments: Available in York with limited trackside refreshments at Bishopthorpe.
Car park 150 yards to the west of Escrick Grange Farm - on the Escrick to Stillingfleet road .
The track is equally suited to classic and skating technique.
