Travel from Hull on the A1079 towards York About 10 miles east of York pass by Barmby Moor. Take the first small road left, immediately opposite a petrol station. Pass under a power line and into some woods. Take the next left turn. Travel a few hundred metres further and there is a small clearing/car park just as the road bends left. Park here

Because it is farmland, the roads can acquire some gravel and earth particularly at planting and harvesting season.
Minor roads with mainly farm traffic. Tractors have right of way.
